I am always excited to try new products, especially when they come in edible form. However, this weeks review comes with some added bias.

In previous posts, I speak openly about my addiction to caffeine - so there really was no question that this care package from We Are Little's was going to be enjoyed...

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the name, We Are Little's are the flavoured coffee connoisseurs here to 'liven up your cup' one delicious infusion at a time.

If you're already speculative at this initial stage of description, don't worry - I was too. In the past, my experiences with flavoured coffee have been fuelled by high-street chains pumping sugary syrup and chemicals into a milky caffeine-based infusion. After learning that this wasn't REAL coffee (or good for my body), I quickly shunned the habit - vowing to never resort to this form of "pick-me-up" again.

Seven years later, and my reintroduction has been somewhat revolutionary to my everyday caffeine habits. As a Flat White drinker through and through, I can't stand the taste of bland, watery and lifeless coffee that presents itself in instant form - avoiding it at even the most desperate of times (a 5am wake-up call after four days and 0 hrs sleep at Glastonbury kind of desperate). Now I'm able to enjoy a delicious, aromatic brew from the comfort of my office/home in no time at all (insert praying hands emoji).

My discovery of this unique product range came after a trip to Dart's Farm for their recent healthy breakfast promotion. Will (Little's Coffee Chief) and Abby (Little's Marketing Guru) were running a stall offering out samples of their range, and after hearing the sound of the coffee machine alongside the sweet, chocolatey aroma - I naturally gravitated towards them to inspect further. I explained my doubts and previous experiences of flavoured coffee to Will, who reassured me that We Are Little's make nothing but high-quality flavoured products, without anything artificial.

I have to admit, it was an easy sell to someone who's heart flutters at the sound of a La Marzocco in action. But with flavours such as; Chocolate Caramel, French Vanilla and Island Coconut (to name a few) - I can guarantee you'll soon be pining after these quirky cup fillers in no time.

So if you're in need of a pick-me-up for your coffee cup, I can whole-heartedly recommend trying the We Are Little's range. With prices starting at £2.99, you can easily justify this small expense over your usual takeaway habit.

You can find their jars sitting on the shelves at Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

1tsp We Are Little's Flavoured Coffee

250ml milk (I used Oatly foamable)

1 tsp coconut oil

Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Simply combine all the ingredients in a blender, then heat in a saucepan until hot. You can also do this in a microwave using a heat-proof saucepan (be sure not to burn the milk).

For the best result, use a milk frother to create a creamy finish.
